The above two quick watercolour sketches were spur of the moment inspirational test studies, I have  always had problems with painting water and getting that sparkle from the light skies and thought a quick check out go how its done by the professionals on U Tube would help....has it?

This is my very first attempt with pastels, and why did I try them on canvas. Well hoho, it didn't turn out too bad methinks.
